Young America’s Foundation Reagan Ranch Center is open for business, specifically, the business of reaching today’s young people with your conservative ideas. Young America’s Foundation’s Reagan Ranch team is now occupying the Reagan Ranch Center and using this tremendous 22,000 square-foot facility in downtown Santa Barbara as a vital part of the Conservative Movement. The Center includes classrooms, a theater, meeting rooms, a library of conservative resources, Young America’s Foundation’s Reagan Ranch offices, and more. Many events for the Center are planned over the next year as we fulfill our mission to reaching increasing numbers of young Americans with the principles and ideas President Reagan so cherished. The Reagan Ranch Center will change thousands of lives. It will be a place where young and old alike can learn about Ronald Reagan and his conservative values through historical exhibits and dynamic educational programs.
It will be a center for conservative thought and student outreach, a place dedicated to the lessons of history and vibrant ideas for the future.
Your tax-deductible contribution to Young America's Foundation today will enable us to protect and preserve Ronald Reagan's beloved Ranch, Rancho del Cielo and the new Reagan Ranch Center, -- in Santa Barbara, California to ensure future generations know this great man and your conservative ideas.
Student Programs
Young America’s Foundation is the largest conservative student outreach organization in the country. The Foundation ensures that an ever increasing number of young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideals of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values.
President Reagan’s praise of the Foundation’s work still rings true today, “Young America’s Foundation programs offer invaluable assistance to young men and women searching for the encouragement and understanding necessary to reinforce the values of a free society.”
Rancho del Cielo serves as both a living history lesson and a testament to the true character of Ronald Reagan. It is here—not just in textbooks or biographies—that future generations will learn about Reagan’s values, including his steadfast commitment to freedom, hard work, patriotism, and faith in God.
Students visit the ranch as part of weekend conferences and leadership retreats sponsored by Young America’s Foundation. These programs are hosted at camps or hotels in the area, but they will be more cost-effectively sponsored at the new Reagan Ranch Center.
These seminars are important because student leaders are eager to learn about Ronald Reagan’s life and ideas. Guest speakers will enrich the experience of a ranch visit by applying Reagan’s philosophies to current issues. On-site leadership training will teach a new generation of Ronald Reagans.
Students will hear Ronald Reagan’s speeches for themselves and see his handwritten letters that personally communicate his conservative beliefs. Ronald Reagan will truly “come alive” through interpretive displays, interactive sites, and video presentations.
