The Reagan Ranch Center

The Reagan Ranch Center stands tall in the heart of the Left Coast, on the busiest street in Santa Barbara, adjacent to the much traveled Highway 101, just two short blocks from the beach, and in the shadow of the Reagan Ranch. There could not be a more ideal location to draw people to learn about conservative ideas.

With four floors of classrooms, lecture space, a movie theater, ranch exhibits and a library of conservative resources, the Reagan Ranch Center is a state-of-the-art facility that brings conservative ideas to life. The Reagan Ranch Center is an essential complement to the Ranch. It is here that we can share the story of the Ranch and its place in history with the public at large.

The Reagan Ranch Center offers many resources and opportunities for our students, supporters, neighbors, and area visitors to learn about Ronald Reagan, the principles he stood for, and the Ranch he called home.

  • We host regular events at the Reagan Ranch Center that give an opportunity for our nation’s top conservative leaders to address Foundation audiences on topics of public policy, Reagan history, and conservative principles. Past speakers include Attorney General Ed Meese, Senator Ted Cruz,Ambassador John Bolton, Senator Mike Lee, Michelle Malkin, Greg Gutfeld, Victor Davis HansonSpeaker Newt Gingrich, Governor Scott Walker, Dr. Charles Krauthammer, Senator Joe Lieberman, and many others.

  • The Reagan Ranch Center is a hub of Conservative activity to the West Coast. Not only the home to Young America’s Foundation staff and programs, the Center is utilized by like-minded organizations from around the country as a place to meet, share ideas, and gain inspiration.

Since the Reagan Ranch Center opened its doors in 2006, Young America’s Foundation has been honored to host the National Rifle Association, Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute, Citizens United, the Phillips Foundation,Eagle Publishing, Bruce Eberle and Associates, National Right to Work, the Heritage Foundation, various alumni groups including Hillsdale College, and many other organizations for board meetings and events.

If your organization shares our commitment to the principles of the Reagan Revolution and you would like information about hosting an event at the Reagan Ranch Center, please contact us at events@reaganranch.org.

  • We have worked with elementary, middle, and high school classes, hosting groups at both the Reagan Ranch Center and the Ranch. • Our extensive exhibits and archives offer scholars and authors unique insights into the Reagan presidency, Ronald Reagan’s life, and—especially—his beloved Ranch home. If you would like to arrange a special appointment to enhance your Reagan scholarship or research through the Reagan Ranch Center archives, please contact us here.

  • UPDATE: The new gallery hours are on Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m.

  • Young America’s Foundation stepped forward to save the Reagan Ranch with the primary goal of using it to inspire the next generation of conservative leaders for our country. The Ranch is an important component of the Foundation’s broader mission to “ensure that increasing numbers of young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideas of limited government, free enterprise, a strong national defense, and traditional values.”

In keeping with our mission, students who participate in select Reagan Ranch programs have the opportunity to tour Rancho del Cielo. We also host Reagan scholars, Reagan administration officials, members of the media, and leaders of the Conservative Movement whenever possible.

As stakeholders in our mission, members of Young America’s Foundation’s President’s Club and Rawhide Circle are also extended an invitation to tour the Ranch by appointment.

For more information about how we use the Ranch, please call us at (805) 957-1980.
